here. Also, it appears the Amazon story just won't go away. Now it's revealed they are in the habit of trying to get better and better deals from publishers every year, and using every strong-arm tactic they can. This hits the publishers' profit margins, which mean midlisters like me will get hit in the trickle-down effect. You can read more about it
