Missouri: An Illustrated History A "Best Book for 2008"

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch has named my book Missouri: An Illustrated History, one of the Best Books for 2008! Their list of best books is a bit long, so I shouldn't crow too loudly, but it still feels great, especially coming two days after my dream agent rejected my novel. Ah, the writer's life--good follows bad, and bad follows good!
