I've just started a new job as a travel blogger for Gadling, the single biggest travel blog out there. Yesterday they interviewed me, and from now on I'll be posting most if not all days.
It's nice to get back into travel writing. It's actually how I started as a writer, way back in the early Nineties when I was writing travel pieces for zines and other small press publications. My first book proposal was an account of Kumbh Mela, a massive Hindu pilgrimage, but the agent I had at the time couldn't find a home for it. Ah well. Here's to a new start!
