Diving Into The New Novel

I'm getting into my latest novel. I always know when that's happening because I become incapable of reading fiction. No matter how interesting the story, I'll read a page or two and then need to put it down. I don't want any other stories in my head. I won't be able to read someone else's novel until I get my own on paper.

Pity. I was halfway through Gogol's Dead Souls and it's really good.

I just love it when a new project takes hold and my head is suddenly somewhere else entirely. I'm living in my head right now, too. Hope your alternate reality is lovely!

It's nice for me. Not particularly nice for my protagonist at the moment.

Looking for more from Sean McLachlan? He also hangs out on the Civil War Horror blog, where he focuses on Civil War and Wild West history.

You can also find him on his Twitter feed and Facebook page.
