Hemingway's Favorite Short Story

I'm completely gobsmacked. I just read what Hemingway considered his best work. It's a short story in only six words.

For sale: baby shoes, never worn.

Wow.

I know what he meant though. There are days were I'm elated after writing a poem. Then there are days where I re read some chapters I've written and I feel like shredding it to pieces and trashing it just to start over again. I think all writers are extremely sensitve about their work.

Agree with you.

Just bought the six-word memoir book (titled Not Quite what I Was Planning). Fascinating insights!

Looking for more from Sean McLachlan? He also hangs out on the Civil War Horror blog, where he focuses on Civil War and Wild West history.

You can also find him on his Twitter feed and Facebook page.
