Yep, my first post on Midlist Writer in many, many months! Ever since my novel A Fine Likeness came out I've been focusing on my Civil War Horror blog. That's been a lot of fun and I've done a ton of posts on the Civil War west of the Mississippi, the Wild West, and horror/historical fiction.
It hasn't been a perfect fit, however. Those who know me know I write lots of travel and not all my fiction is limited to the Civil War. While I've just finished a sequel to A Fine Likeness, I probably won't get back to that genre for a while. I'm doing National Novel Writing Month for the first time and will
write a post-apocalyptic novel titled Radio Hope.
After that, I'll be in Tangier
all December finishing up my novel set there. It's contemporary
fiction. After that I'll probably work on a World War One action novel
called Trench Raiders.
While I'll continue blogging over at Civil War Horror, from now on my main blog will be this one. You'll be getting lots more about my travels, my writing methods, and other randomness, but don't worry, I'll be reposting all that historical stuff here too so you won't miss a thing! Chances are I'll have a post most days on Midlist Writer.
Oh, and how do you like the redesign? I'm open to suggestions

Sean--When I saw the photo, I thought, 'THAT'S why Sean has not posted in a while. He seems to be a bit sickly these days...'
The title "Radio Hope" is intriguing.
I wish you well when it comes to NaNoWriMo. As productive as you are, I don't imagine you'll have any problem...
Guess I'll just have to keep up with you in both places!
So, I've followed you here, Sean. I do enjoy the travel blogs and hearing about your writing.
I'm intrigued more by the Tangiers novel.
