Like all writers, I obsessively check my Amazon ratings. While these have little to do with overall sales, it's a nice indicator that you can look at on a regular basis, part of the impulse surfing that drives the Internet. One thing I've noticed is that people keep preordering my book American Civil War Guerrilla Tactics, due out from Osprey in September. Now I'm not complaining, but why are people buying a book that's not going to be published for another six months? Couldn't they preorder it in, say, August, and still get it as soon as it hits the shelves? People have been preordering my Outlaw Tales of Missouri too, but at least that's coming out next week!
I've been getting a bit behind with the blogging lately, but that's because I've been busy setting up house in Oxford. I promise to get back into gear!

You're the only guy I know who would complain about people pre-ordering your book(s)...at least they are ordering them! ~LOL~ Congrats on the releases, fella...can't think of a nicer guy to have it happen to. :)
Congratulations, Sean.
That's great news!
