Cover Reveal for my next Military History Book!

My next book from Osprey Publishing will come out this August. It's part of the Combat series, taking a grunt's eye view of the Apache Wars. I'm looking at the equipment, tactics, and personal experiences of Apache warriors and U.S. cavalrymen.

The cover will be higher resolution than this. I got this off the website and don't have a quality scan yet. As usual, this Osprey title will have several color plates showing battles and fighters. This will be my seventh book for Osprey. You can see all of my titles on my section of their website.

Sean--It's a great cover. I love the two different pictures of the two different sides. I imagine it was fascinating doing the research for this book.

Sioux: The research is always fun on these books. I especially liked the few surviving Apache accounts. They are precious documents. Since the Apache Wars took place so late compared to the wars with other tribes, they are among the few written from the Native American side.

Looking for more from Sean McLachlan? He also hangs out on the Civil War Horror blog, where he focuses on Civil War and Wild West history.

You can also find him on his Twitter feed and Facebook page.
