Getting back into blogging

Yes, I'm still alive! After a break of more than two weeks I'm trying to get back into posting here on a regular basis. After my two-month stay in Harar, Ethiopia, I had a lot of catching up to do, including the page proofs for two upcoming books from Osprey Publishing. I also went to Oxford for a couple of weeks and the weather was so nice my work ethic took a serious nosedive.

I just got back from yet another trip, this time a week spent hiking in the Basque region of Spain and France. Now that I'm home and have no major distractions, I can get back to some regular blogging.

Sorry for the lapse in writing (you did notice, didn't you?). I promise to blog regularly for the foreseeable future.

The Pyrenees...My favorite part of the world.

Was this business or purely pleasure?

I was tagging along covering a new tour offered by Country Walkers, so it was work, if you can call hiking and eating work. Well, I did write about it.
